Louise-Adéone Drölling (1797-1831) est née en Alsace.  Elle était fille et  sœur de peintres.  Elle a présenté ce tableau au Salon royal de peinture et de sculpture à Paris, en 1827, et l’œuvre a remporté une Médaille d’or.  Le tableau a été acheté par la Duchesse de Berry, qui avait une collection d’art prestigieuse.

Louise-Adéone Drölling (1797-1831) was born in Alsace. Her father and brother were painters. She presented this painting to the Royal Salon of Painting and Sculpture in 1827, and the work received a Gold Medal. The painting was purchased by the Duchess de Berry, who had a prestigious art collection.
